Ichthyoid V explores a transitional stage in the Yctyogenesis universe, where human identity begins to dissolve into a fully aquatic consciousness. The figure is both architect and artifact—constructed through layers of skeletal systems, fins, and articulated structures that feel biological yet engineered. The bold use of turquoise and coral tones suggests a shifting habitat, a world where survival demands constant adaptation.
In this work, the boundary between awareness and instinct blurs: the head becomes a vessel of memory, evolution, and ancestral transformation. Ichthyoid V captures a moment of becoming, suspended between the remnants of the human face and the emergent logic of a marine-born species.
