Ichthyoid V explores a transitional stage in the Yctyogenesis universe, where human identity begins to dissolve into a fully aquatic consciousness. The figure is both architect and artifact—constructed through layers of skeletal systems, fins, and mechanical-like structures that feel biological yet engineered. The bold use of turquoise and coral tones suggests a shifting habitat, a world where survival demands constant adaptation.
In this work, the boundary between awareness and instinct blurs: the head becomes a vessel of memory, evolution, and ancestral transformation. Ichthyoid V captures a moment of becoming, suspended between the remnants of the human face and the emergent logic of a marine-born species.
