Quixote I reimagines the legendary knight — a symbol deeply rooted in Aurelio Milera’s Spanish heritage — through the evolutionary lens of Yctyogenesis.
This transformed Quixote becomes a hybrid marine being, his anatomical distortions and organic armor suggesting the endurance of cultural identity even as the world mutates around him. The piece reflects the persistence of myth, memory, and lineage in the face of environmental and existential change.
Rendered in mixed media, the figure stands as both a survivor and a seeker, a post-evolutionary echo of the knight who never stopped questioning the world.
